Wireless Internet access is available for the
convenience of Culpeper Airport's local and transient pilots,
staff, customers, and corporate clients.
The
central point of access is the current Fixed Base Operation.
You should be able to access the internet from the ramp
area and the nearby hangars, and inside the FBO.
Keep
in mind that wireless broadband uses a "line of site"
transmission and if you're on the other side of a metal
hangar, behind a group of trees or other obstruction, you
may not be able to access the system.
As
you move around the airport, you'll most likely find a spot
that works for you. The number of "bars" and the
transfer rate are an indicator of how good your connection
will be.
The
airport cannot guarantee that you'll always get a good connection.
This is a free service and the airport staff will make a
"best effort" to provide you with the best service
possible.
